I’ve attended many seminars over the years on contracts, business management, cash flow, building recurring revenue and building value, but this is the first one that really tied it all together. Steve presents an excellent overview of the industry and how companies are valued, but then offers specific suggestions for making sure you are building the right foundation. We are going through an update of our accounting system and Steve even offered suggestions for how to set up our books so we have the information we need to make sure we are profitable across business lines. In fact I held a meeting with my staff the next day and we discussed his suggestions for increasing recurring revenue. Those ideas alone were worth the time.
