Davis Marketing Group/GraybeardsRus Team Members Attend Wisconsin, Michigan, California Alarm Association Meetings

May 31, 2007, Long Grove, IL. — Ron Davis, managing partner of Davis Marketing Group and GraybeardsRus, described the efforts of his management team in participating in alarm association meetings throughout the country as an effort to better understand the current thinking of alarm dealers.

“We want to talk face-to-face with today’s dealers to discover not only their concerns and problems but also to determine what really great things are happening to them every day,” Davis explained. “We like to think that we’re making meaningful contacts with dealers across the nation and have a pretty good feel as to what they’re thinking and doing on a daily basis.”

Davis went on to emphasize the importance of regional alarm association meetings and the contributions they make to the personal and professional growth of the owners of alarm companies.

Most recently, Katie Maahs-Bally, former owner of North Shore Security, and Bruce Amrine, former owner of AA Alarms, attended the BFAAM (Burglar and Fire Alarm Association of Michigan) held in Detroit. About 150 people attended that all day session which included updates on state regulations and other matters pertaining to good business management.

Maahs-Bally also attended the WBFAA Annual Awards Dinner which was held in Milwaukee . The speaker, George Bish, spoke compellingly about the on-going efforts of the NBFAA to best represent the alarm industry.

She participated in the CAA’s Annual Spring Conference held in Palm Springs , CA . The exhibits and sessions were well-attended by the nearly 200 leaders of companies located primarily on the West Coast.

She has plans to attend the PBFAA’s 25 th Annual Conference to be held in Philadelphia in June.
