Pelican Security Network Acquires Alarm & Security Technologies

Long Grove IL, August 12, 2010 — Alarm & Security Technologies, Inc. in Covington,
LA has been acquired by The Pelican Security Network, headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA.

Timothy Joubert, Founder, Owner and President of Alarm & Security Technologies, Inc. will be retiring, but his staff will remain with the company.

Tim had this to say regarding the acquisition:  “Through the affiliation with The Pelican Security Network, we will be able to continue to provide a wider range of capabilities often available only through large, national companies.”

The transaction was handled by Steve Rubin of Davis Mergers and Acquisitions Group, Inc., aka The Graybeards, who represented Alarm & Security Technologies, Inc.
