Ron and Beverly Davis honored at Barnes, Buchanan, Mallon Conference

February 19, 2005, Long Grove, IL — Once again, Beverly and Ron Davis were invited to be guests at the Barnes, Buchanan, Mallon Conference held annually at the Breakers Hotel in Florida. This year’s conference keynote speaker was General Wesley Clarke, along with industry veterans addressing the “state of the industry” with respect to acquisitions, mergers and financing.

The opening speaker for the conference was Jim Covert, President of HSN, formerly Honeywell Security,
and now considered to be one of the major players in the industry. Covert, who has founded several companies, including Cambridge and SecurityLink, started his talk by recognizing Ron Davis as one of “the smartest men I know in the industry”. Caught by surprise, Ron later commented “Coming from Jim Covert, it was quite an honor!”

In addition to networking with industry peers, Ron and Bev developed new relationships with industry attorneys, financial resource centers, as well as potential buyers and sellers.
