Ron Davis Facilitates F.E. Moran Acquisitions, Portfolio Growth

December 2, 2005, Long Grove, IL. — Ending the year with its second acquisition, F.E. Moran Security and Monitoring, Champaign, IL, recently concluded its second acquisition in the last six months. Prior to this latest acquisition, Moran purchased the assets of RTA Systems in Effingham, IL. On December 2nd of this year, Moran President, Brett Bean, announced the acquisition of Max Services, a Chicago area based central station monitoring and answering service.

Max Services is a wholesale central station and provides monitoring and other services to independent alarm dealers. That service will be picked up by F.E. Moran, and will continue in place. In addition, the answering service that was included in the purchase will be expanded to offer independent alarm dealers who monitor at F.E. Moran the opportunity to have personalized answering services.

Handling the negotiations for Moran was Brett Bean, President. Handling the negotiations for Max Services was Scott Hansen, formerly President of the company. Ron Davis, Davis Marketing Group, acted as a facilitator between the two companies and arranged for the purchase.

In commenting on the acquisition, Brett Bean, President of Moran had this to say: “We are pleased with this acquisition and the added dimension that it provides our central station monitoring services. It also gives us a good access to opportunities in the Chicago area, and we look forward to servicing independent alarm dealers security needs in that market.”
