Counterforce (USA) Acquires Assets of Harrison Alarm Services, Inc. of Houston, TX

Long Grove, IL, December 30, 2003 — In what has been
described as one of the fastest transactions done in the alarm industry (less than 30 days), the CounterForce division of Chubb Security has acquired the assets of Harrison Alarm, one of the oldest and most respected companies in the Houston metropolitan area. Both buyer and seller agreed that it would be in both of their best interests to conclude
the transaction before the end of the year, and then proceeded to do so.

In commenting on the transaction, Gordon Harrison, President of Harrison Alarm, commented: “Not only was it fast and efficient, but it was very easy to work with these people. They are professionals.”
