Vegas Pauses to Honor Ron Davis As One of Industry’s Most Influential People

Las Vegas, NV, March 30, 2004 — Attended by hundreds of his peers, Ron Davis, Managing Partner of Davis Marketing Group, was honored as one of the 25 most influential people
the alarm industry has had in the last 25 years. The honors came at Security Sales & Integration ’s 9th annual Sales and Marketing (SAMMY) Awards gala on March 30 at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

Davis was recognized for his work in conducting
over 1,000 seminars and speeches, and writing hundreds of articles for various trade publications. He was also recognized for his role in building Security Alliance, the industry’s first conversion franchise group, and Security Associates. At the time of his departure Security Associates represented the largest wholesale monitoring station and dealer community, numbering almost 4,000.

Commenting on this second recognition by an industry trade publication in as many years, Davis had this to say about
these latest accolades, “It really speaks volumes about the growth of the industry when an educator and motivator is recognized for his work. I’m thrilled and honored to be recognized for the work that I and many of my associates have accomplished over the years. It has been said that

Ron Davis today is Managing Partner of Davis Marketing Group. DMG, aka The Graybeards, is the industry’s oldest full service consulting organization.
