Security Networks, Inc. Acquires Wholesale Monitoring Station, Marlin Central Monitoring

May 2, 2005, Long Grove, IL — Representing
the seller, Marlin Central Monitoring, Davis Marketing Group’s Managing Partner, Ron Davis, coordinated the effort to select Security Networks, Inc. as the buyer. Security Networks, Inc. is a Southeastern regional player,
headed up by industry veteran, Rich Perry. Marlin Monitoring was headed up by Barry Brannon, formerly of Security Associates. Barry will continue with the company as Vice President of Dealer Development, and will continue in his role as spokesperson for the central station.

With an account base of over 10,000, Marlin was considered an up and coming regional monitoring station. Now, as part of Security Networks, Marlin will continue to provide wholesale monitoring for alarm dealers, as well as monitor accounts for Security Networks, which are owned by the company.

Commenting on the acquisition, DMG Managing Partner, Ron Davis, had this to say: “I had worked with Barry Brannon for several years at SAI and knew the quality of what he had built. Rich Perry and I had attempted to do some acquisitions in the past, but this represents the first one that has actually come through.
