Tucker Alarm Systems sells account base to Advanced Detection Systems (ADS)

Long Grove, IL, October 31, 2008 —  In a move that beefs up ADS’ considerable presence in the Melbourne, FL area, it was recently announced that ADS acquired the assets of Tucker Alarm Systems, Inc.  While the number of accounts and recurring monthly revenue was not disclosed, it’s a well known fact that ADS has a considerable presence in that area as a result of their acquisition of Advanced Detection Systems, Inc., a Florida corporation.

Tucker Alarm Systems, Inc. has been doing business in the area for a number of years, and Mike Tucker concluded that this was a good time for him to retire.

All negotiations were concluded and the deal closed on October 31, 2008.  The sale was facilitated by Davis Marketing Group.  The transaction executive handling this for DMG was Dorsie Mosher, Senior Partner.
